私はディズニーアニメに順位をつけるつもりはありませんが、わくわくするディズニー映画であげたいのがこの「ロビンフッド」です。悪者がただ悪いだけでなく彼らの中にもそれぞれのボスに対する不平や不満があり、とっても愉快です。ストレートに気持ちを表現するロビンとその仲間たちに自分も参加できる素敵なお話だと思います。

イギリスに伝わる有名な叙事詩、ロビンフッドの物語をアニメーションにした作品です。
キャラクターは狐やライオン、ウサギに鶏などばかりですが、出てくる登場人物の殆どはちゃんと本当のロビンフッドに関ってくる人物たち。
子供たちにも親しみやすいように言うなれば擬人化ならぬ擬獣化という所です。

十字軍に行った王様のいない間に王様の弟が国民から重い税金を搾り取っているので貧困に喘いでいる所、
ロビンフッドとリトル・ジョンなどの義賊達が悪党のシェリフ達から税金を取り返し人々に渡すという大本の設定は変えられていません。
物語を最後の大バトルで盛り上げる音楽は何回聞いてもロビンがんばれ！と応援したくなるほどハラハラドキドキのしっぱなしになりました。

何年経っても色褪せない、子供が見ても大人が見ても見やすく楽しめる作品にだと思います。
