内容紹介
ヨークシャーに住むカラクル一家の飼犬ラッシーは、見た目も立派なだけでなく非常の利口で、毎日午後4時にカラクル一家の息子ジョー（ロディ・マクドゥォール）を迎えに学校へ行く名犬だった。しかし一家の主人サム（ドナルド・クリスプ）は失業から借金がかさみ、ラッシーを侯爵家に売り渡してしまう。悲しみに暮れるジョー。しかし翌日午後4時になると、ラッシーは侯爵の犬舎を逃げ出して、学校へジョーを迎えに行く。ラッシーはすぐに連れ戻されるが、その後も度々ラッシーが逃亡を繰り返す為、侯爵はラッシーをスコットランドの別荘に送る。厳しい訓練を受けるラッシーだったが、ついにある日別荘を脱走する。カラクル一家の待つヨークシャーに向かって…。
