ファーストマキシシングルから約４ヵ月ぶりに、セカンド
シングル「エチュード」がリリースされた。
前作同様、プロモーションＤＶＤを付属している。また、
大きいＣＤケースや、アルバムタイトルのレイアウトも前作
を継承している。

音楽ＣＤ：
１曲目「エチュード」は、前作「ロマンス」と曲調は正反対
である。ただ、悲しく沈み込むような感じではなく、作曲者
であるrinoの「切ないが、軽快なポップスナンバー」という
テイストがベースとなっている。
２曲目「selfish　girl」は、エチュードとは違い、がらっ
と明るい雰囲気へと変わる。この曲になって、使用されてい
る楽曲が今までの曲とは少し異なっている。ラジカセのよう
な再生音を彷彿とする効果を加えて、中原麻衣らしい質感を
出している。

映像ＤＶＤ：
「エチュード」のプロモーションＤＶＤを収録している。収録
時間は約５分。全体的に、青色を基調とした映像である。この
映像と併せて曲を聴くと、今回の曲のテイストがより顕著に味
わえるのではないだろうか。

録音音質は、前作「ロマンス」と同じ評価である。ただし、今回
の２曲目「selfish　girl」では、意図的に楽曲の質感を軽くして
いるため、高品位オーディオでの良質な再生は望めないかもしれ
ない。
