ドラゴンボールを扱ったゲームの中では今までで一番のデキ。
ドラゴンボールの「キャラクター」を使って格闘ゲームを作った、というのではなく、ドラゴンボールの「世界観」をゲームにしようという意欲がすごく感じられる。

格闘シーンの再現度はかなりのもの。
慣れるまでは前作までのチマチマした差しあいが多いかもしれないが、プレイヤーが上達するにつれてドンドンと原作のようにハデでスピーディなアクションが楽しめる。
演出と駆け引きの両方を楽しめるように作られているドラゴンラッシュもハデでカッコイイ上に、演出は長すぎず短すぎず良い感じで、駆け引き的にもコンボが後半になるほど繋がり確率が下がるのは熱い。
究極技も派手でカッコイイ。

ストーリーを追いながらキャラクターを育ててすすむドラゴンユニバースモードは、少し微妙な出来。
キャラクター毎に別々にストーリーをプレイするので、ほとんど原作中でそのキャラクターが戦った相手としか戦わず、話の繋がりはわかりにくい。
原作を知っている人が楽しむものだと思ってプレイしたほうが良く、ストーリーを完全に楽しみたければ漫画、アニメなどによる予習が必須。
しかし、敵を倒してキャラを育て、技を習得し、さらに強い敵と戦うというゲーム的な部分だけで十分に楽しむことができ、必殺技フィニッシュや戦闘中の原作再現、特定の行動を取った回数などで経験値が変動したりなど、戦闘を楽しめる工夫が沢山してあるのは好感が持てる。

とにかく、ドラゴンボールなんてあまり興味の無い人でも、プレイしてるところをみて「スゴイね！」といえるほどの作品。ファンなら買って損はない。
というよりも、ドラゴンボールが好きな人にはひとも一度はプレイして欲しい。

ドラゴンボールＺ、Ｚ２、Ｚ３、Ｓｐａｒｋｉｎｇ！！
全部やってみたけど、私的に一番ハマったのはこのＺ３です。

ドラゴンユニバース、何度もやった。
キャラクターが舞空術で移動するのには感動しました！

キャラクターでは、ブロリーがかっこよかった！
体の大きさと、技のダイナミックさに圧倒されました。
あと、長髪トランクスも大好き。
戦闘服に剣しょっててちょっと違和感あるけどかっこいいです。

ドラゴンラッシュ、最初できなくて泣いてたけど
何度も練習してできるようになった時は、
凄く嬉しかった。究極技が決まるともっと嬉しい！

Ｓｐａｒｋｉｎｇ！！をやったあとでも、
Ｚ３はやっぱり面白かったです。
何せ主題歌の歌も最高ですし！
主題歌もゲーム自体も、星５つですよ！！

このゲームは格闘性が薄いとか言われてるが、
チャージキャンセル攻撃を起点として闘えば
ガードされても隙ができないし、またヒットしていたら
とっさにコンボを切り替えて・・・なんていう相手の対処を
判断して攻撃を選ぶ、結構頭を使うゲームだと思う。

ただやっぱり個性をコンボ性能に頼りすぎている感がある。
例えば光線系の技にダメージの差はない。
コンボが高性能なら強い、逆だと弱い。
パワー系とかテクニック系とか遠距離系なんかの個性は
ほしい。じゃないとナッパとかリクームがかわいそう。
