１曲目の「春色彩華」は、明るくてわくわくする曲です。
２曲目の「大河悠久」は、切なく壮大で心の奥深くまで響き渡ります。
すべての曲で、日本の雅楽と中国の二胡、琵琶、笛が見事に融合しています。
とくに篳篥と二胡のせつない音に思わず泣きそうになりました。
あらためて中国と日本の楽器のすばらしさに感動しました。

東儀秀樹の新しいアルバム『春色彩華』は、中国の民族音楽演奏家達とのコラボレーションによって生み出されました。
東儀秀樹が、日本雅楽の管楽器の篳篥（ひちりき）を吹き、上海民族楽団出身の若手の中国民族音楽演奏家が、琵琶、二胡、笛を使って演奏するという「アジアの音楽」のルーツを探るようなグループの誕生です。

長男が雅楽をやっていましたので、篳篥（ひちりき）の音色には親しんでいるのですが、東儀秀樹の音はまた格別に上手ですね。そして、二胡の楽器の特性であるポルタメントがかった音の繋がりが篳篥とうまく調和します。琵琶、笛は、日本音楽のベースにもなっていますので、何の違和感もない組み合わせだと感じました。

１曲目の「春色彩華」の現代的なサウンドがまたオシャレで聴いていてウキウキするような曲に仕上がっています。伝統音楽のエッセンスが現代に形を代えて降り注いでくるような曲ですね。
２曲目の「大河悠久」の壮大なスケールを感じさせる曲も良かったですね。西洋のオーケストレーションでは出せない雰囲気を持っています。雄大でたっぷりとした音楽は、多くの人に「癒し」を与えることと思います。
バッハの「AIR（Ｇ線上のアリア）」とドボルザークの「新世界」の２曲は、新しい可能性にチャレンジしたものです。原曲の持っている大きなフレーズ感を損なわずに、日本と中国の伝統楽器でどのように表現できるか、というものへの回答のようなアレンジでした。
そして東儀秀樹の代表曲「New ASIA」がこのメンバーでまた新しく蘇りました。元々、このようなサウンドを目指していたかのように違和感のない仕上がり感じました。

今までにないサウンドの連続です。期待を裏切らない立派なアルバムの誕生ですね。

東儀さんは、存在自体に品があり、熱い心の奥底を通じて、
曲の演奏をして下さる、素晴らしい方です。東儀秀樹さんとの出会いも、
このアルバムで、神秘の世界をより広げることができて、
思い出深い曲が多く、生演奏を聴いた時、感動のあまり、鳥肌が、たちました。
また、雅楽を超えて、人間性のかっこよさもある方で、上品で素敵ですね。
東儀さんのメッセージが、心から伝わってくる作品です。
