本製品はPlextor社のPX-716AのOEM製品になります。
この製品の特筆すべきところは、2層DVD±Rの書き込みに対応しているほかに、メディア特性学習機能「AUTO STRATEGY」があげられます。この「AUTO STRATEGY」があれば、ドライブに未登録のメディアに対する記録品位を上げ、既存製品もさらに高品位に記録することが可能になります。ファームウェアのアップデートPlextorのOEMらしく、こまめに行われます。
値段もPX-716Aより安くなっているので、お買い得の一品といえるでしょう。
