    私は個人的に前のアルバムよりこちらの方が傑作だと思っている。
    ヤン・ハマーのバックで縦横無尽、八面六臂まあいろんな言い方ができると
    思うがもう好き勝手にベックのギターが飛び回るというとにかくかっこいいの一言のアルバム。
    もう1から素晴らしい曲がスタートし、3、5、8と名曲目白押し。
    ロックギターに関心ある人は聞く義務があると思う大傑作です。

    オリジナルLP、初版CD、そしてこの紙ジャケ版と、３回目の購入。ときどき無性に聴きたくなる、が、３０年近く続いています。
    このアルバムのどこにそれほど惹かれるのか、今もってよくわかりません。
    私に確かに言える事は、このアルバムにはとてつもないエネルギーが納められているにちがいない、という事です。
    ベックも、ハマ-も、ウォルデンも、みな素晴らしい。曲もいい。でも、それでは全然言い表せていない。

    レビューになっていなくてすみません。一言でよかった。
    この音を聴け！

    5.0 out of 5 stars 希少な橋渡し的作品, 2005/4/19
    よく、キースエマーソンやリックウェイクマン関連のアルバムからクラシックへ興味を持つ連中も多いが、これはロックからジャズへの布石となるアルバムといってよい。少々乱暴だがこういう図式が成り立つわけである。

    ヴァニラファッジ（UKロック界）→BBA→ジェフベック（本作）→ヤンハマー→ジョンマクラフリン（MO)→マイルスデイビスという感じに。（しかし不思議なことにこの逆はあまり無いようだ）

    このアルバムも全編通してインストだけあるせいか、ジャジーだなんて評価もあるが、実際には強烈なディストーションギターに加え、唸るムーグにクラビバンバン、どう聞いても根底にはロックがある、いや完全なロックアルバムとしか言いようが無い。但しロックの中の位置づけとしては興味深いところにあるので何が何でも必聴盤。
