YMO全盛期の高橋幸宏がプロデュースしたテクノポップの名盤２枚＋シングル曲のセット。1st「魔法を信じるかい？」は過去にCD化されたことがあったが、2nd「恋せよ乙女」は初CD化。2ndのCD化は、半ばあきらめていただけにとても嬉しい。世評は1stだが、本当に素晴らしいのは実は2nd。YMOファミリーの全作品中でも、ナンバーワンを争う作品ではないかと思う。

だいたいのＣＤは手にして来ましたが、私自身レコードを持っていましたのでＣＤ化で手を出すのを後回しにしていました。当時、私は高校生でした。
しかし、やっとつい最近ＣＤを購入させて頂きました。それで…驚愕!!感激!!!の一言！だって、音がぜ~んぜん違った。特にユキヒロさんのドラムの音は大音量で聞くとサイコ~♪です。こんなにポップでせつなくてしかも音のセンスに満ち溢れたアルバムをＣＤでは最近出会ってないくらいのものですね。とにかく見直しました。ＣＤ化に感謝します。そして、多くの方に聞いて頂きたい!!!コンサートももうすぐだそうですが…きっかけで全国ツアーして頂きたいな~（地方なもので…）m(_ _)m

本当に２０年待ってしまいましたよね（＾＾；
DO YOU BELIEV~のアルバムを聞いていたのは高校生時代の美術部で
絵を描きながらでしたが、この頃のニューウェーブ、あるいはテクノ
ポップはホントにロマンティックだなぁ~と思います、
DO YOU BELIEV~の方は、当時のテクノ系の色々な方が楽曲を提供していて
良い！！！立花選手はやたらプラスティックス時代っぽいギターだし
（リズムマシンはシュポシュポCR-78！）でもやっぱり幸宏さんの曲が
最高に良い、ポップ！またアルバム全体として上手い方向性にもって行っている手腕もやっぱり流石です。
それとＬＰ探してもさっぱり無い！手に入らないのかなぁ~と思っていた
「恋せよおとめ」が入ってる！いやーーーホント嬉しいっす、
シングルカット曲も収録されているし、、、「モダンワールド」は
「あ！これ聞いた事ある！」と思って思いだしました、某カセットテープ
のＴＶＣＦに使われていましたよね？カッコイイ曲です、良い意味で
ULTRAVOXっぽいベース、シンセギターっぽいモジュレーションシンセも
カッコイイなぁ~、ホント買いですよ、このＣＤ。
