約２０年前に、コンサートの係員のアルバイトをしていて、そのときに初めてこの曲を聴きました。あれからあこのＣＤを探していてはじめてのＣＤリリースがでたのを最近知りまして、すぐに注文しました。
曲の評価としては、懐かしくもあり新鮮でもありました。私個人としては、やさしさが罪がとても気に入っています。

８０年代歌謡曲シーンと日本テクノ人脈が生み出した至高の傑作。
サウンドプロデュースに坂本龍一、演奏はＹＭＯの３人を筆頭に凄腕が結集、忘れちゃいけない筒美京平を筆頭に忌野清志郎、矢野顕子、中島みゆきといった豪華作家陣に正面から堂々と渡り合う郷ひろみは、間違いなく日本を代表するシンガーの１人だということができるであろう。何故かＣＤ化されないまま、ＬＰを擦り切れるまで回した名作をやっとデジタルで聴ける時が来た。間違いなく歌謡曲が良質だった時代の息吹に刮目せよ！

アルバムのクレジットには、
ドラムスは高橋幸宏氏となっていますが、
坂本龍一氏が叩いている曲もあります。
（「愛の空中ブランコ」など）
教授なのかユキヒロ氏なのか、
どちらが叩いているのか、すぐにわかると思います。
ユキヒロ氏と比較するのは酷ですが、
それでも坂本龍一氏のこの頃のドラムスは、
なかなかのものだと、思います。
２０年間、このアルバムを探し続けていました。
やはり、坂本龍一氏のアレンジは素晴らしいです。
