ボガンボスのトリビュートということで、高校時代からローザ時代からよくライブに行っていたボガンボスのアルバム、購入しました。どんとは、ローザやボガンボの初期が一番好きです。その当時の曲が大半で、大変聞きやすかったです。アーチストによっては曲の感じがあまりにも変わっているなぁという曲もありますが、今、この時代にボガンボスの歌が歌い継がれる、ということの喜びの方が、私は大きかったです。
うつみようこ、奥田民生、ＹＯ-ＫＩＮＧが特にかっこよかったかな。特に、うつみようこは本当にかっこよい！女性であんな歌い方できる人がいるなんて！もう、これ聞けただけでめっけもんでした！
どんととｋｙｏｎ、そして、ボガンボスに感謝。

UA＆リトルクリーチャーズの「トンネルぬけて」、ソウルフラワー＆グルーヴァーズの「ポケットの中」、YO-KING＆THE PRIVATES「ダイナマイトに火をつけろ」・・・。
これだけでよくもまー、こんなぴったりな選曲を、なのに、甲本ヒロト＆ROCK'N ROLL GYPSIES （てことはヒロトのみならずルースターズも？？）が「夜のドライブ」、トータス松本＆BLACK BOTTOM BRASS BAND「助けて！フラワーマン」！！何ともツボを突いた適材適所な選曲。まさにこの人たちにこの曲を歌わせたい！という、まんまの選曲がたまりません。ボガンボスを全く聴いたことのない人にも、あの濃厚な世界へのすごくいい足がかりになるはず。

にしても、自分が彼らを大好きだった当時は、誰も周りにボガンボスを好きだなんて人は見つからなかったのに（ネットや携帯もなかったし）、今自分が大好きなアーティストも彼らを愛していたんだなあ、というのは妙な感じです。
・・・しかしVol.1、てことは、当然2もあるんでしょうか？となると「見返り不美人」は誰が？？と期待は止まらず。

後になって知ったのですが、プロデュースはKyon（ex.ボガンボ）、曲やアーティストの選定だけでなく、各曲を2組のアーティストというのも、Kyonのアイディアなんだとか。なるほど、適材適所な訳だ。
民生＆スパゴーの「もしもし!OK!!」や、当時から旧知の仲だったうつみようこ＆マチルダロドリゲス「絶体絶命」に至っては、原曲以上にエキサイティング。オススメです！

参加アーティストやKyon氏のボ・ガンボスに寄せる想いの丈は1リスナーでしかない私には解りません。でも、やっぱり「俺も」ボ・ガンボスが好きだったんだ！と再確認させてもらえました。
　いろんなカタチで生まれ変わった名曲たち。耳に入ってくる感じは全然違うものだけれど、身体が覚えているこの感じは紛れも無くボ・ガンボスそのものです。●●っぽい曲や、××っぽいバンドが巷には溢れていますが、｢ボ・ガンボスっぽさ」を感じることができるのはこのアルバムだけでしょうね。当たり前か。
　「ボ・ガンボスっぽさ」を存分に堪能し、新しい刺激を得ることができました。と同時にオリジナル「ボ・ガンボス」の特異な個性を改めて実感したのでした。
　「どんとはどんとだけにしかいないのね」
