MTVで､ロス･ロンリーボーイズのHeavenのPVを始めて見たときから､このバンドただ者ではないなと思っていました｡そして､新人だと知ってまたびっくりしました｡ラテン系な､爽やかなサウンドです｡非常にきれいにハモっています｡グラミー賞の新人賞にもノミネートされていて､グラミー２００５のアルバムでもHeavenは聞くことができます｡ やっと日本で正式発売になりました｡シンプルなサウンドが好きな人には是非お勧めの一枚です｡直輸入盤も出ていて､そちらは１３曲､試聴もできます｡

地元のＦＭ曲で「Heaven」（２曲目）がヘビーローテーションになり、この"Los lonely boys"の存在を知りました。グラミー賞ノミネート作品だなんて露知らず、ラジオから流れるこの曲を何となく聞いていた毎日。朝聞いても、夜聞いてもスーッと気持ちが落ち着くようなこのサウンド。ロックだけどうるさくないんです！爽やかなんです！エレキギターの"うぃ~~んん"と唸る音がまた心地良いんです！これは、緩やかなラテンサウンドにノッテいるからでしょう。
アルバムは期待以上で、どの曲もはずれがない感じ。ですが、全体の構成もよく、それぞれが主張し過ぎずアルバム内でよく調和されています。
癒されたいけどヒーリング音楽系では静か過ぎて物足りない方、又、最近アップテンポな曲がうるさく感じてきた方にお勧めです。
また、以前のグラミー賞でノミネートされたことのある、"サンタナ"が好きな方にもお勧めします。

グラミー賞で、最優秀ＰＯＰアーティスト？に輝いたLos Lonely Boys。名曲「Heven」はいうまでもなく最高なんですが、グラサン・ギターじゃない、ベースの人がリードボーカルを務めている、「More Than Love」も素晴らしいです。また、メキシコ系の血が入っているようで、スペイン語の歌詞が多いです。スペイン語を勉強される方にもお勧めできるかもしれませんね。
