日本でこれほどのロックアルバムが発売されるとは！
ロックンロール好きな人にはたまらない一枚です。

ロックの夜明けである、ロック・アラウンド・ザ・ロックから始まり、
プリティーウーマン、ジョニー・Ｂ・グッド、などの大ヒット曲ばかりが目白押し！

しかも、このアルバムの一番凄いところは日本のベストにもかかわらず
エルヴィス・プレスリーの曲が収録されているところです。
エルヴィスの曲が入っていることから、このCD企画がいかに大々的な物であるかが伺えます。

ロック好きにはもちろんのこと、あまり興味のない方にも一度は聞いてほしいCDです。　
というか、このCDの曲を知らない方は音楽好きを名乗れません！

かなりいいです。これ一枚で昔のロックンロールは一通りバッチリ★☆
パンクとか、ハードロックとかもさ、いいけどさ、たまにはこんなのもいいぞよ。未成年なわしですが、車の免許取ったらこういうのを大音量でかけてドライブしたいなーなんて、思ってみたりしました。とにかく聴いてみて下さい！！

エルヴェス・プレスリーを筆頭に、ビル・ヘイリーと彼のコメッツ、チャック・ベリー、リトル・リチャード、バディ・ホリーなどまさにロックンロールの有名人たちが一挙に入っているとゆえるベスト版。いままでロックンロールに興味のあった人はもちろん、ロックンロールの初心者にも最適な一枚。しかも２枚組みで全５０曲というボリュームもうれしいところ。


しかし個人的に不満点を上げるなら「ブルー・スエード・シューズ」で有名で、ビートルズも何曲かカバーしているカール・パーキンスや「ビー・バップ・ア・ルーラ」で有名なジーン・ヴィンセントなどの、ロカビリーシンガーが入っていないのが残念。しかしそれでもロックンロール好きなら、かって損なしと思える１枚。
