「鋼の錬金術師」の中でも主人公と人気を二分した「焔の錬金術師 ロイ・マスタング」のデスクトップアクセサリーソフト。100枚以上の中から設定できる壁紙は、TV本編から厳選した画像を使用。スクリーンセーバーはTVアニメの静止画像などで作成されている。また、あらかじめデザインされた機能的なアナログ&デジタル時計、カレンダーをデスクトップ上に表示し、見やすい場所にドラッグで移動も可能。そのほか、神経衰弱やパズルなど、音声入りのミニゲーム集や、今までのシーンの名セリフ、他では聞けないオリジナルなセリフ(メール通知のボイス)を用いて、PCの起動音やシステムSEを自由に設定することができる音声データ集も収録。

正直、シャレで買いました。
でも実際に使用してみて、今は幸せな気分です。
OSの起動と終了・メール着信・システムエラー（笑）等のたびに大佐の声が聴けるというのが、こんなに楽しいとは思ってもみなかったです。
お蔭様で（？）大佐が「雨が降ってきたな・・・」とつぶやくので、アプリケーションエラーまでも楽しくなる始末です。
ボイスは様々なものからチョイスできるようになっていて楽しめます。
アニメでは無くてがっかりしていた原作のセリフも沢山ありましたよ。これは嬉しかった！
大佐の魅力は声のしめる割合が高かった事を改めて実感させてくれる商品でした。
もちろん、大佐の魅力満載のスクリーンセイバーも活躍しています。
ＴＶからの静止画像だけでも充分といえば充分なのですが（量もけっこうあるし）、あえて欲を言えば描き下ろしのイラストが欲しかったかな。

ボイスは取り下ろしなのでおいしいですが、画像関係はすべてテレビシリーズからなので、見慣れた感があるので物足りなさを感じてしまった。
満足したのはボイスとこのソフトのジャケットくらいでした・・・・。
