Natasha Bedingfieldとの強烈な遭遇は、ある日のCDショップでした。
クール・ビューティーという感じの素敵な女性が、意味ありげな眼差しでこちらを見つめているジャケットにひかれて、とりあえず聴いてみたのです。
　内容は、想像を絶するほどに素晴らしいものでした。Pops, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Gospel. Rock, etc...、色々なジャンルの良いところを自分なりに咀嚼し、自分の好きなサウンドに仕立て上げる天性の才能には、脱帽しました。そして、何と言っても歌詞が最高です。
アルバムタイトル曲の"Unwritten"は、個人的に一番好きなナンバー！誰もに勇気とやる気を与えてくれる曲です。サビの部分が特に良いですね。
"Feel the rain on your skin, No one else can feel it for you, Only you can let it in. No one else, no one else, can speak the words on your lips .....Today is my own book begins, and the rest is still unwritten..." （降り注ぐ雨を肌で感じて/あなた自身の体で感じることは誰にもできないから/あなただけの感性で感じるのよ/他の誰も、そう誰も、あなたのその唇で話すことはできないから.....私の本のページは今日、始まったばかり...そして、未来のページは何も書かれていない、白紙のまま...)
全文を訳して紹介したいくらい、本当に素敵です。今まで誰もテーマにしなかったことを題材にした曲が多く、新鮮で、刺激的でした。
全英アルバムチャート＆シングルチャートで1位を獲得し、「デビュー前から作品を提供しつづけてきた苦労がやっと実った」と某誌のインタビューで話していました。出身はロンドン郊外にある移民の街ルイシャムで、自身もニュージーランド系というオールラウンドな彼女。大学では心理学を専攻したとか。デビューシングル"Single"では、独身女性や彼氏なんていらない！という新時代の女性のあり方をストレートに唄っていて、かなり爽快です(笑)。

UKから現れた新人。
Daniel　Bedingfieldを兄貴に持つスーパノヴァここに誕生。
9月6日にCCCDでリリースされた記念すべきファーストアルバム
今作はまるでカレイドスコープのような仕上がりになっている。
私が彼女を初めて知ったのは7月のプリンセズ　トラストの
8時間にわたる野外ライブでのこと。

当初Anastacia目当てで

この番組を視聴していたのだが、なかなか現れないので
いつの間にかながら見の状態にしていた。そこの表れたのが彼女。
Natasha　Bedingfield（ナターシャ　ベディングフィールド）
声は一瞬P!NKを思い出す。これはこの先の紹介のされ方にも
メディアでは使われると思っている。
作中、特に1曲目のThese　Wordsが白眉。

I　Love　Youと繰り返されるフックなんかライブでやったら
必ず盛り上がるだろうって曲。

そのほか4曲目11曲目も良い。
見た目はちょっとビリーパイパーも入ってる感じ。
めちゃくちゃかわいいビジュアル先行タイプってことは
ないので曲勝負のアーティストである。
とにかく面白さ、フレッシュさ、若さの魅力に満ち溢れたアルバム

10月20日に国内版が決まった。早耳の人はぜひ！

本質的に声の質が大好きです。
アンリトゥンのﾋﾞﾃﾞｵｸﾘｯﾌﾟを観て速攻で購入しました。
当たりでした。声の質は軽いﾊｽｷｰぽくPINKに似ている所が
ありますしﾙｯｸｽもｸﾞ〜なんです。
色んなｼﾞｬﾝﾙの曲があって・・2ndｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの出来がどうなるのか？
楽しみです。
