デキシード・ザ・エモンズのありそうでなかったライブ盤が登場しましたね。

初めて彼らのライブを見た印象は「アホっぽくて熱くてかっこいい」でしたが、このアルバムはそんなライブ風景を音でうまくまとめています。ただ、やはり彼らは映像で見たいものです。演奏のかっこよさはもちろんですが、彼らはライブ・パフォーマンスもめちゃくちゃよくて、常にお客さんを引きつけようと様々なアホなことをやらかしてしまうので、CDではそのような醜態（誉め言葉）を拝めないのが残念。
ただ、本当に素晴らしいアルバムなので文句は言えませんね。スタジオ盤よりもロケンローなアレンジを施した名曲の数々…激しい「ライドン」や名曲「ライ麦白書」は涙が出てきます。そしてさらに涙腺を刺激するのは「ライ麦白書」でのアベ・ジュリーの息子へのメッセージです。ロックンロールのかっこよさとかっこ悪さが同居して、なんとも微笑ましいです。

このバンドのアルバムはこれしか持っていないのですが、奇跡のようなライブアルバムで愛聴しています。

（１）ロックのギグってこうだろうな〜という熱気がそのままパッケージされている。

（２）苦節ウン年の初めての実況録音盤制作ライブということで、バンドもお客も喜んでいる。

（３）ＣＤリスナー向けへのＭＣがいっぱい入っている。それに客席も応えている。

すごい。
