デビューから８年目までのシングルとそのカップリングのベスト。
２枚組で全部聴くと、
山下久美子の歌手活動の変遷が
わかるという感じである。
１枚目から、年代順になっているのだが、
やはり、知られているのは
1枚目の「1」とか「11」~「16」あたりであろう。
しかし、それ以外の曲も、
結構入魂投身のような感じのつくりで、
個人的には好きである。
同時発売になって2枚目の6~9や、
アルバム自体もおもしろいつくりであった
2枚目の「10」あたりも良い。
山下久美子というと、昔は「総立ちの久美子」という、
ライブ活動での異名をとっていたが、
私は、むしろそうではない山下久美子も
結構好きで、
女の視点で描いた等身大を
ちょっと背伸びしたような世界が、
とても好きだった。
このベストは、そんな世界も、
ちゃんと入っていてうれしい。
