再生について
  • データの保護方式が変更され、従来の一部機種での再生の不具合は発生しません。
    一部プレーヤがCDDAリードアウトの外側にある最外周トラックをリサーチすることがありますが、停止し再生し直すことで解決されます。

  • パソコンでは、専用ソフトによってCD-DAデータの再生、HDDへのコピー、CD-R作成ができます。またWidows Media PlayerによってHDDからWMA DRMに対応したHDD型/フラッシュメモリ型携帯プレーヤへの転送と、曲を選んでコンピレーションCD-Rを作成することができます。専用ソフトはWindows XP（Home/Professional；32ビット）用です。XP（x64）やMacintosh等には対応していません。

    音楽の内容面に関しては、前作よりも、インパクトのある曲は減りましたが、本作品でも、コールドプレイは、静かで美しいけど、同時に芯が通って力強いロックを聞かせてくれます。
    まず、このエディションの最大の長所は、日本盤三回目のリリースにして初めてコピー・コントロールが解除され、『X＆Y』の初の非CCCD＝CD日本盤となったことです。
    次に、ボーナスCD／ディスク２に、CCCD盤だった『X＆Y』シングル盤三枚のカップリング曲「シングス・アイ・ドント・アンダースタンド」、「プルーフ」、「ザ・ワールド・ターンド・アップ・サイド・ダウン」、「ポア・ミー（ライヴ・アット・ザ・ハリウッド・ボウル）」、「スリーピング・サン」、「グラヴィティ」のCDトラック、そして「スピード・オブ・サウンド」、「フィックス・ユー」、「トーク」、「ザ・ハーデスト・パート」のCD−ROMトラック／ヴィデオが収録されていることです。どれもいいですね。
    また、これまでの日本盤も同じでしょうが、US盤はCCCDではなく、CDだったものの、歌詞がブックレットに印刷されていなかったのに対し、この日本盤には、折りたたみの粗末な紙切れにですが、歌詞と対訳が印刷されています。
    ただひとつの残念なのは、ボーナストラック／ディスク２の歌詞と対訳が省略されている点です。

    ＵＳプレスと同じとありますが、これもしっかりＣＣＣＤです。うっかりこの前にＣＣＣＤを買ってしまい、深く反省・・・今回、コピーコントロールの掛かっていない「ＵＳプレスと同じ」と言う表記に、まんまと騙されて思い悩んだ末に「これでＭＰ３プレーヤーに落とせるし・・・なんと言っても限定で、２枚目の特典も気になるから・・・買っちゃえ！」で買いました。ＣＣＣＤならしっかり「ＣＣＣＤです」って表記して欲しい！！絶対に買わないので！！私と同じ様に考えて購入を考えている人がいたら、止めといた方がいいですよ。２枚目がどうしても欲しいと言う方は別として。

    coldplayのこのニューアルバム、音楽的には最高に良かったです。
    しかし、cccdの意味を知らずにかってしまいました。
    普段パソコンでCDを聴くので、この日本盤、買って損しました！
    CCCDの注意事項、もっとわかりやすく書いておいてもらいたいです！
    今後、二度とこの東芝EMIのCDは買いません！
