劇団ひまわりミュージカル『空色勾玉』のために作られた曲たちが、サウンドトラックの既成の概念を突き抜けたコンセプト・アルバムになった。音楽を手がけた吉良知彦のユニットZABADAKのアルバム『空ノ色』としてリリース決定。レコーディングには同劇の出演者たちも歌・楽器で参加し、劇中で使用された曲はほぼすべて、全17曲を収録している。あの舞台の感動がもう一度よみがえる！

勾玉三部作のファンです。最近ZABADAKを知りました。その二つがドッキングしているのですからこれは聴くしかない。ただ、原作のイメージがこわれてしまうのは怖い。…幸いにその不安は現実になりませんでした。三部作の導入篇としてとても魅力的な原作の独特の爽快感やダイナミックさを、膨らませこそすれ決して破壊していません。 ミュージカルとしてのダンスシーンを考えるとやっぱりこうなるのだろうな、と納得できる部分の他に、こういうやり方があるのか！と感心する部分もあって、原作のファンもこれなら承認するのではないでしょうか。ミュージカルの劇中音楽を網羅したということで、音楽劇としても十分聴ける構成になっています。聴いていると原作の場面が浮かんできます。…ミュージカルも見てみたかったな。

劇団ひまわりミュージカルの「空色勾玉」に使われたようなのですが、私は空色勾玉は知っていますが、ミュージカルは見ていないんです。
しかし、このCDは本当に良いですよ。
この声はもしかしたらこの人か？
ああ、これはこのヒトだ！
そんなものが沢山あります。
空色勾玉を読んだ人には、ぜひ聞いて欲しいです。
けれど、ちょっと普通のCDと思って買いたいのでしたら、あまりオススメはできません。普通の歌というかんじではありませんので・・・。

まさに、ミュージカルを凝縮したような感じです。歌詞で「このシーンだ」とすぐわかるので、ぜひ聴いてみて下さい！

原作[空色勾玉]のファンで、ひまわりのミュージカルも観ました。とても面白かったです。 CDも記念に買っとこう程度にしか考えていなかったんですが、次第に耳に馴染んで今では必需品です!きっとどこか温かく懐かしい旋律が、人の心を引き付けるんだと想います。 同じく荻原さん作の[風神秘抄]で糸世御前を演じた方が、主役狭也を熱演してますので、原作ファンはそこも注目してほしい所です!是非おすすめです!
