「笑ってこらえて」を録画したビデオを何回も繰り返し見た。
そしてこのＤＶＤを見つけ即、購入。
課題曲の「エアーズ」は本当にいい曲だ。
楽譜を見なければ、拍子の変化や転調の妙が素人にはわかり難いが、そんなことは関係なく心に残る。
それを代表で演奏している伊那学園の自由曲がまたものすごい演奏。
クラリネット奏者たちの、足を揃えた姿勢の良さも印象的。
やはり女性が股を開くのは美しくないのだ！
管楽器奏者たちだって足を揃えて吹いている。皆、真似ようではないか。
難曲に取り組み、ここまでの演奏に仕上げるまでの生徒、指導者の苦労は、テレビの編集されたストーリーでははかりきれないものがあったに違いない。その努力に拍手を送りながら、また聴き直す・・・。

このDVDはローマの祭りが、２校続けて収録されていることである。
実際のプログラムでも駒沢の次が松陽だった。。。

ドラマなどで吹奏楽を取り上げることがあるが、練習やステージに上がっている光景は非常に「軽い」イメージを感じさせられる。
コンクール経験者にとって、笑ってこらえてのような光景は当たり前で、これ以上に血と汗を流しているということを感じてほしいなと思う。

演奏は、さすが高校生！
かなり完成度の高い演奏なのではないかと思われる。

吹奏楽の甲子園、普門館。
そこで毎年繰り広げられる演奏は、もう高校生離れした演奏ばかりだ。
そんな演奏の中の金賞をあつめたこのＤＶＤは、もうすごい以外のなにものでもない。
そして去年は日本テレビ「笑ってこらえて」でも取り上げられ、
吹奏楽というのが世間に少なからず耳に入った年ではなかっただろうか。
その番組を見て、少しでも興味を持ったかたはこのＤＶＤを見ていただきたい。
番組でもとりあげられていた「淀工」や「習志野」も出ているし、
他の学校負けないくらい素晴らしい演奏を繰り広げている。
吹奏楽ファン、そして吹奏楽初心者にも、必見の１枚である。
