ポップスと思って聞けば非常に心地良い。
なかなかリラックスできるアルバムです。
なのに！マスタリングが酷い。
他の方のレビューにもありましたが、
ノイズがあります。おそらく、クリップしているんでしょう。
まともなシステムで聞くと、音質的な破綻が気になって
音楽を楽しめません。
録音が少し悪いとか、そういうレベルではなく、
エンジニアの常識を疑うレベルなので、☆２つに原点。

デビューしたころから比べ、ライブ（生声）がとびきり上手になりました。アンプラグドなピアノ一本で、しずかに伸びる声、切ないですよ。「WILL　YOU　STILL~（原曲キャロル・キング）」は特に、まちがいなく失恋しそうなあの感触「行かないで！」と、でも声にならなかったことをよみがえらせてくれます。ほかに2ndはかなりのスタンダードです。洋楽好きな人、聴いてみてよ。クラプトンの「TEARS　IN~」も思い切ったアレンジです。これもありかって。

　１２月中旬の発売だけど、収録曲の「Ｃｌｏｓｅ ｔｏ ｙｏｕ」が１月からＯＡされているトヨタホームのＣＭで使われていることで、 評判は発売直後より上がってきているらしい。
　内容はライト＆ソフトなジャズ・ヴォーカル。とにかく、この人の声、気持ちいい！　やっぱり、歌手は声だなぁと思う。
　１曲目の「Ｔｅａ ｆｏｒ ｔｗｏ」からジャズ･ファン以外にもお馴染みのナンバーが続く。こういう作品を聴くと音楽の力を実感できる。だって、いきなり心の中に暖かい何かが拡がるような、豊かな気持ちになれるから。そして、彼女の声は、ただ柔らかだったり穏やかだったりするだけぢゃなくて、明日への希望を与えてくれるような響きを持っている。音楽で癒してもらおうなんて意識するのは好きぢゃないけど、静かに力が湧いてくるような気がして、聴きながら自然に笑顔になってるようなアルバムだなと思った。
　いやらしい狙いを感じさせない、ただ歌の好きな人が好きな歌をうたったら、ここまで気持ちのいいものが出来ましたって感じの一枚。
