真夜中の暴走：drive all night：はルースターズもカバーした
名R&Rナンバー、80年代疾走派（浜田省吾、佐野元春、高橋研ら）に
多大なヒントを与えた。
サマーハウス、アナスタシアの澄んだ叙情、
タイトルトラックの軽やかさ、フォークロック典型の終曲等
聴き所は多く、作風的にトム・ペティとも近い。実際、古典。

邦題見てわかるとおり、若者の悩み・挫折系話をロックに載せて歌うアーチスト。
こういう毛色の人たちのアルバムはそれこそ、Bruce Springsteenを筆頭に
世の中に一杯あるのだが、私はこのアルバム割と気に入っている。
内容もさることながら、特にジャケットの雰囲気がいい。
この雰囲気は紙ジャケでないと味わえないので、紙ジャケでの発売は大歓迎。
もう忘れてしまった若い頃の苦い思い出等を思い出したい人には絶好のアルバム

結ばれることのない恋人たちは
雨の中、遠くを走る車の音を聞きながら
深夜のラジオを
ボリュームを落として
昔流行った安っぽいバラードを聴いている
誰も二人の熱い思いに気がつかないように

一晩中かけて言葉は語り尽くしたけれど
まだ、伝えきれない思いを抱きながら
深夜の線路伝いに、石ころを蹴りながら歩いた

キミの瞳には、ボクに似た見知らぬ男が映っていた
ボクは蒸し暑い夜に向かって
それはボクじゃないよとつぶやく

ティーンネイジという名の熱を帯びた時代に
狂うこともできず

全部好きだけど比較的地味な
ロックバラッドとサマーハウスの２曲が特に好きだ
このまま時よ止まってくれと願う
祈りのような時間を過ごしたことがある人ならば
分かってもらえると思う。
