７０年代から９０年代のハードロック、ヘヴィメタル、ミクスチャ−ロックの見本市みたいなアルバムだ。
映画はつまらないのだが、このサントラはドライブのお供に最適ではないだろうか。
特に１曲目は、トラック野郎にぜひお勧めしたい。

1993年、シュワちゃん主演映画「Last Action Hero」のサウンドトラックです。

　演奏するバンドは、以下のとおり。
1, AC / DC
2, Alice In Chains
3, Megadeth
4, Queensryche
5, Def Leppard
6, Anthrax (Voは、John Bush)
7, Aerosmith (Live) (マイケル・ケイメン指揮オーケストラとの共演)
8, Alice In Chains
9, Cypress Hill
10, Fishbone
11, Tesla
12, Michael Kamen with Buckethead　　　です。

　なんとも豪華なラインナップですが、
それ以上に素晴らしいのが、個々の楽曲です。

　ちょうど、直近のアルバムに名盤が多く、その延長線上の雰囲気を持った曲が多いです。
AC/DC 「The Razors Edge」(US2位、UK4位)
Alice In Chains 「Dirt」（US6位）
Megadeth 「Countdown to Extinction」(US2位、UK5位)　etc

　オススメは、tr.1、2、3、5、6、8、11です。
（特にtr.1、3は最高！！！です）

　また、tr.12でギターを弾くのが、
なんと！、あの！、「バケットヘッド」！！！です。
（GN’Rにいた、ケンタッキーのバスケットを頭にかぶって、
　ロボットダンスやら、ヌンチャクやらをする、凄腕ギタリストです。）

　コレは、明らかに「超A級HEAVY METAL サウンドトラック」です。
　未発表曲集やベストに収録されているものもありますが、とりあえず「買い！！！」の1枚です。
