ﾃﾞﾋﾞｭｰして約一年。早くも１stｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの発売が決まりました。
なんとｼﾝｸﾞﾙで出た曲だけでA面は5曲!!そのうち4曲が、ﾄﾞﾗﾏ、ｱﾆﾒ、CMのﾀｲｱｯﾌﾟ付とかなり豪華。
これが新人の力だろうか...。
幼馴染で結成したｻｻﾞｰﾗﾝﾄﾞ。これからの活躍にも期待したい。
新人でこんな嬉しいことをしてくれるのはｻｻﾞｰﾗﾝﾄﾞしかいない!
お年玉の入る1月...これは絶対買いです！

これまた期待以上の一枚です。何かに「サザーランドの1stアルバムは、まるで映画のような気分にさせてくれます」というキャッチコピーのようなのが書かれていたんですが、まさにそのとおりです。僕は特に3,5,7,9が気に入っています。ルックスもいいし、どの曲もすばらしいし、これからも期待しているので、どんどんイイ曲を出して頑張ってほしいです。

山形出身の4人組バンド・サザーランドの1stフルアルバム。曲の世界観と合ってるかは別として、某消費者金融のCMで大量に流れて問い合わせ殺到・スマッシュヒットを記録した「Silent movie」「その先に霞んでいる」や、アニメの主題歌で疾走感溢れる「君となら」、切ないラブソングである「その瞳のかげり」、9・11テロを題材とした「悲しみのうた」…と、シングル曲だけでも十分満足のいく内容です。アルバム曲も、『旅立ちと別れ』を歌った「Dream of reunion」「涙雨」、日常や夢に対する葛藤を歌った「GATE」「スカイ線の向こう」、今までの彼らの曲には無くある意味歌詞が怖い？「MONSTER」、アルバム最終曲にふさわしいアコギ弾き語りの「Believe」と、バラエティに富んでいています。
また、収録されている曲すべてが、各々多少は歌唱・演奏の面で荒削りな部分がありますがそれがかえって曲の良さを引き立たせており、何回聞いても飽きません！
歌詞が比較的前向きな曲が多いので、今作は、落ち込んでいる時・疲れた時などに元気をもらえたり前向きな気持ちにさせてくれる、そういったパワーを持つアルバムだと思います！
