THE WORLD OF OZ の唯一のアルバム、その名も"THE WORLD OF OZ".
DERAMレコード初、ブリティッシュポップサイケの隠れ名盤。
ジャケットにくらり。１曲目からにやり。
愛らしい１曲目の"THE MUFFIN MAN"。かすかに聴こえる馬車の音~おもちゃみたいなファンファーレ~絶妙に調子っぱずれに歌い出す"I am the muffine man"のvo....やられた！！！
わくわくして、たのしくて、少し切ない。
ポップの似合わぬハスキーボイスが敢えてポップを歌う妙。
マジカルミステリーツアー？ ここにだってこっそり、素敵な秘密のツアーはあるんです。

おもちゃ箱を、大人になってからこっそり部屋でひっくり返してひとり遊んでみるような、そんな気持ちになるアルバム。
