最近はシャナイア・トゥウェインやリアン・ライムスやジェシカ・アンドリュースのようなカントリー・ポップって感じの歌手が増えていますね。カントリーとは一線を置いて考えた方がいいと思いますが、ポップよりに近いためカントリーを聞かない方もすんなり聴けると思います♪
非常に爽やかで、全曲通してサラッと聴くことができるのが　このジャンル？の特徴でしょうか。
歌も上手ですし、ディクシー・チックスなどをさらにポップにした感じと捉えることが出来そうです♪
☆3つが　かなりいい!!と考えて頂ければ。と思います。

シャナイア・トゥウェインって有名なんですか？
ヒットチャート等には興味がない私は最近まで知りませんでした(^^ゞ

結婚披露宴に使えそうな明るくて元気の良い曲を探していたところ、
HONDAのエアウェイブのCMに使われている“UP”という曲が気になり、シャナイアに辿り着きました。
で、ここの評価でこのベスト盤の評判が高かったため、試しにと思い買ってみました。

というわけで、シャナイアのことを全く知らなかった私が先入観等全くない状態で本CDを聴いたところ、
想像以上にクオリティの高いご機嫌な音楽でした。
“UP”以外にもアップテンポで明るい曲が満載です。
どうも彼女の音楽はカントリーか？ポップスか？なんて議論されているようですが、そんなジャンル分けはまったく無意味です。
聴いていてとても気落ちの良い上質のポップスとでも云えばいいでしょうか。
太陽がサンサンと降り注ぐ中、田舎道をのんびりとドライブしたくなる、そんなイメージです。
他のアルバムも聴いてみたくなりました。

ホンダのCMに使われています。
完全に「UP!」目当てです。それで買ってしまいました。
いままでシャナイア・トゥエインのことを知りませんでしたが、
他の曲も素晴らしいと感じました。
