第２巻第８話から分岐する一つの終わりの形。物語の詰めに向けて動き出す巻です。
今までの停滞を一気に吹き飛ばす勢いで物語が進行します。とはいえ１話あたり１５分のアニメ、スケジュールがきつくなってます。あまり急いているという感じはしませんが。
物語は丸くおさまってめでたしめでたしという感じでよいのですが、私としては最後まで画が気に入りませんでした。どうしても慣れる事ができません。短いアニメだから、繰り返して見られますが、やはり慣れません。パッケージの絵で心の準備をしておいた方がいいかと思います。
最後まで見て終わったあとの感想は、今一つといったところでしょうか。画が気に入らないといった表層的な事ではなく、お祭り騒ぎに便乗して作ったのではないかという深層面での勘繰りが首をもたげる仕上がりです。
やはり時間１５分といった制約は大きかったように見えます。しかし、いずれの話も１５分の枠内に収め切ったことは賞賛に値するでしょう。１５分という時間自体、成功でもあり失敗でもあったのでは。
この巻で一応、アニメ『月は東に日は西に』は終わりですが、第４巻というもう一つの物語があります。とはいえ、それはこの物語には直接の関係はないので、それを買うかどうかはご自分で判断して下さい。私の考えとしては、第１巻から第３巻までを揃えればファンとしての面目は立つと思います。
ですが、その前にこの第３巻を買うべきかよく考えてみるといいでしょう。このアニメ、第１巻と第２巻だけでも充分楽しめますから。いえ、それ以前にこれらの購入を私はあまりお薦めしない事を明言しておきます。理由は画・時間・物語の３つの半端さからです。
