　確かにダースベイダーそっくりの悪玉とライトセーバーで闘ったりするのだが、エディターズ・レビューで評されているような「スター･ウォーズ」や「未知との遭遇」のパロディというほどではなく、本筋は冴えない私立探偵コンビと、セクシーで可愛いが頭は空っぽという「マリリン・モンロー・キャラ」のチェリー･チェンが繰り広げるお笑いドタバタ。決して名作とか傑作とは言えないが、アクション、お色気、歌に踊りに流行りもののパクリに女装（笑）と、ミスターＢＯＯを思わせるいかにも一昔前の香港映画テイスト満載の楽しい映画である。ツイ･ハークもチョイ役で出演！！
