CDショップの店頭で「ACROSS」をジャケ買いしてしてからaminさんの大ファンになり、iPodと通勤の車内で繰り返し聞いています。ウーロン茶のCMは知っていましたが、NHK中国語講座のOPテーマの方とは気がつきませんでした。声、歌い方、中国語の歌詞のセンス、……すべてがいいです。

それで過去の作品も聴いてみたい……と思ってこのアルバムを買ったのですが、はっきり言ってガッカリしました。
一昔前の歌謡曲のような、安っぽいサウンド。同じ歌い手、同じ声のはずなのに、プロデュースする人でこんなにも違うものか、と感心したほどです。「中国、アジア」というのを声高に叫ぶ姿勢にも、ちょっと違和感を感じます。
（「東京チャイナガール」の歌詞や、ただ上海出身のヴォーカルというだけで「アジアの風」とサブタイトルに付けてしまう発想の貧困さななど……。）
今ほどアジア各国のアーティストとの交流やコラボレーションが当たり前でなかった時代の作品だから仕方がないのかな？とは思いますが。

「夜総会バンド」っていうのは何だか知らないし、それのファンの方ならいいと感じるのかもしれませんが、少なくともウーロン茶のCMから入った方は、買わない方が無難です。失望率100％（笑）でしょう。

ほかにもaminさんの過去の作品がいくつかあるようですが、ちょっと不安になってしまいました。視聴してから買うことにします。
