見事なボケ具合です。この500円シリーズは作品によって仕様が違うし、当たりハズレも激しいです。なので、このシリーズを買う場合は一つ一つ評価を見て買ったほうがいいです。
で、これはというと、まずは始めに書いたように映像がボケています。
そしてチャプターがありません（紙のチャプターもほかの500円シリーズ同様ありませんが、DVD内のチャプターもありません）。
それと、なぜかコレはリージョーンフリー（ALL）です（なぜでしょうか？）。
でも字幕はいいと思います。
しかし、もうワーナーから安価で出ているので、他人にススメるならそちらをオススメします。
最後に、この☆2つというのは映画の内容に対する評価ではなく、この商品に対する評価なのでお間違えなく。

でっちあげ感の強いパッケージとチープな値段がアヤシさを醸す一品。
画質は案の定それらに見合ったもので、創世記のカラーテレビってこんなもんかなとも思わせるボケ具合です。冒頭スタッフ紹介の中サイズの文字すら読みにくい…。ポータブルＤＶＤで丁度いいくらいかも？
ただ字幕が"J.GORDON INTERNATIONAL LTD."の名前から想像できない位まともだったのは拍子抜け・・・いやいや嬉しい誤算でした。たまにセンスの良さすら感じる程で、例えば３行くらいある字幕が２秒で切り替わったり、２人分のセリフを１枚に詰めたり、ジーンケリーがオネエ言葉を使ったり、といった謎の外人が手がけたようなヘボ字幕ではありません。日本語のみの収録ですがオンオフ切り替えも可。

すでに画面も綺麗で予告編も入ったワーナー版が廉価で出てるのでどうかという所ですが、わざと悪い画質で古めかしさを演出したい人、この映画が好きで別の字幕バリエーションで楽しみたい人など、ちょいと玄人の方にいかがかでしょう。安いですしね。

ちなみに上にリージョン２とありますが、パッケージにはリージョンフリーの表示があります。
