これぞ王道!!なロックを響かせる４人組み。
３曲目「Ugly」のPVでグッとつかまれ購入しました。
FUEL・NICKELBACKら同様、シンプルながら、とても魅力的な声質で歌われるキャッチーな「歌」を前面に出しつつ、バックの楽器陣は充分にヘヴィーかつ重厚でグルーブもある、といスタイルです。
演奏も、歌も、何より曲造り（特に歌メロ!!）も上手く、ライブもすごくいいものを見せてくれそうな地力の逞しさも感じさせるバンドです。

前述の「Ugly」を筆頭に、歌詞はやや後ろ向きながら、やたらとキャッチーな歌メロの「Tired Of You」等の佳曲揃いで飽きさせません。

ただ、どうも気になる「朗らかで健やかなグランジ」感はこれらのバンドの特徴でしょうから、これを「ウソ臭い」ととるか「カッコいい」・「楽しい」ととるか…
これが新世紀のスタイルではあるのですが…

今この世代の青春のサウンドトラックに充分なりえる高品質なものだとは思います。
１stほどやりすぎではないですし…

前作もメロディアスでハスキーボイスのメロタナ（メロディアなスオルタナ）でしたが、
今回もやはり切ないメロディ+ロック、メロディ+オルタナで、
歌詞も含め心の傷を拭うような、切ないロックです。
Foo Fightersファンの彼らですが、作り出す音は明るいロックではありません。
出身が華やかでも都会ならではの孤独感が、センスを伴ってこういう音楽を作っているのだと思います。
日本であまりにもビッグになってしまわないように、祈るばかりです。
「醜い」曲で涙します。。。

良いねぇ。ロックンロール！って感じで聴きやすい。Marvelous3のようなメロディがギッシリだけどよりハードでカッコいいよ。さすがストテンに見出されただけある。あと少しパンチがあったらHRファンにはたまらないな。
