10thAnnivarsaryのラストを飾るこの曲は、どこか切なくも甘いバラード。
鈴の音がクリスマスを連想させる、そんな曲でもある。

最近のGLAYに多い、無理のない高さの音のこの曲では、
安定感のあるTERUさんの声が心地よく響きます。
この曲を歌う時は、函館の雪景色を思い浮かべるそうです。

「自分の想い出の中の雪景色を思い浮かべて聴いてくれたら」
そう思い聴いた私の頭には、神聖すぎない、身近な雪景色が浮かびました。

ジャケ写もいい雰囲気です。

１０月からスタートのツアーで、新曲として
すでに披露されている新曲の「ホワイトロード」
北海道出身のGLAYにふさわしい冬のバラードナンバーです。
イントロからすごく美しいピアノや、鈴の音が印象的です。
来年２月、３月には、この曲のタイトルが付いた、
ドームツアーがスタートします。
この冬にピッタリのこの「ホワイトロード」
必聴です！！

まさに冬にぴったりの曲です。北海道出身のＧＬＡＹだからこそできた
曲だと思いました！やさしいメロディーと少し悲しい詩とＴＥＲＵの歌声が
すごくマッチしてます！
