超高性能TFT コントラスト比1000：1のPVA液晶パネル採用
   SyncMaster712Tはサムスン独自の高性能PVA液晶パネルの採用で、コントラスト比1000：1、視野角水平垂直178°、輝度250cd/m2、最大表示色約1,677万色、応答速度25msのスペックを実現した。1000：1の高コントラスト比により、これまでにない引き締まった黒色を再現。

デジタル/アナログ2系統入力
   アナログ対応ミニD-Sub15ピンコネクタに加え、デジタル信号に対応したDVI-Dコネクタを装備。DVI-Dではコンピュータがデジタル信号をダイレクトに伝送するため、変換による画像劣化がなく鮮明な画像表示を実現する。さらに両方の端子に2台のコンピュータを接続してモニターを共有することも可能。

エルゴノミクスに基づくスタイリッシュなデザイン
   省スペースとデザインを両立した独自のスリムラインを採用し、ベゼル幅15.1mm（17型）の狭額縁を実現。電源ユニットを内蔵したダイレクトプラグイン方式の採用により、ACアダプタ不要のシンプルな設置環境を実現し、デスク上のスペースを有効活用できる。また、チルト/スィーベル調整に加え、昇降範囲80mmの高さ調整付のスタンドを装備し、標準添付のPIVOTProソフトウェアを使用することで、90°回転の縦表示にも対応する。さらに、壁掛けやアーム取付けなど様々な設置環境に対応するVESA規格に準拠した100mmマウントを装備。設置環境や用途に合わせ自由自在な視覚ポジションを得ることができる。

MagicBright機能
   使用環境に合わせて、テキストモード、インターネットモード、エンターテインメントモードの3種類から最適なプリセットモードを選択することができる。

3年前の三菱RDT175M-Sからの乗換えで買いました。
前の機種の応答速度が同じ25msで動画再生時の残像が
気にならなかったので712Tも大丈夫だろうと思い購入。

しかし、赤系の中間色の残像が非常に気になり、
FPSプレイ時初めて3D酔いを経験しました。
静止画はTNパネルとは圧倒的な差があり、
静止画のみの方にはおすすめできますが
動画再生は三年前のバリュー液晶に負けます。

17インチ液晶としては安価なほうですが、PVAパネル採用でフルカラー(1677万色)表示できる数少ない製品です。<BDVI接続にて早速使用してみましたが色むらも全くなく、くっきりした表示で大変満足です。

以前は15ｲﾝﾁCRTを使用していましたが、今回初めて17ｲﾝﾁの液晶を購入しました。非常に明るく、また２系統入力なのでﾊﾟｿｺﾝを2台繋ぎﾎﾞﾀﾝ一押しで切り替えて快適に使用しています。心配していたﾄﾞｯﾄ抜けも無く非常に満足しています。
