~妻が観た事が無いと言うので、この価格ですから何ら文句が無いので購入してみました。
映画館で観た時は、ジュリアのあの笑顔を忘れる事が出来なくなりました。
アンダーな生活から一転して、トップに上り詰める迄、あの笑顔だけは代わる事が無いし、
その美貌は光り輝いて見えますね。
しかし、男性としてリチャード・ギアを観ると、ま~本当に格好が良~~いな~って思っていました。
今回改めて観て、やっぱりリチャード・ギアは格好がいい。
とにかくエスコート姿が、とにかく格好がいい。
いくら文化が違うからといっても、あんなエスコートをされたら、
女性なら誰でも。。。。。。って、思ってしまいます。
やっぱり、殿堂入りの１作です。~

ジュリアは娼婦役で登場する。派手なメークが別人のようだが、ブロンドのカツラの下にはブルネット(金髪に近いが)の地毛。ブロンドはセクシーなイメージがあり、ブルネットは知的なイメージがある。仮の姿である娼婦と本当の姿を対照的に見せたのがこのカツラだった。

リチャード・ギアの財力とホテルの支配人の協力で貴婦人に変わるジュリアを見るのが楽しい。見た目で人を判断する浅はかさにシニカルな笑いを誘う。マイフェアレディはやっぱり男の夢だと思う。見た目が変わってもジュリアの奔放な性格が楽しい。

オペラを観て彼女が泣くシーンがある。演目はヴェルディの椿姫(学生時代好きだった。松阪慶子主演で「椿姫」という映画もあった)。高校中退という設定の彼女にイタリア語が理解できたとは思えないが、椿姫はわかりやすい美しい音楽が特徴で、役者の演技からストーリーを理解したのだろう。ヴィオレッタ=日陰の娼婦に、知らずに自分を重ねての涙と解釈できる。この映画に影響を与えたと思われる椿姫の原題La traviataは直訳すると「道をふみはずした女」という意味らしく、ジュリアの境遇にぴったり、またラストでも椿姫は流れる。

お互いを認識し、お互いに足りないものを補うことで愛が深まるというラブストーリーの王道。未購入の方にお勧めしたい。

学生の頃、この映画を見たのがきっかけで、映画が好きになりました。
というよりも、ジュリアの笑顔に魅せられて映画が好きになりました。
私にとって、この映画は特別な一作です。
元気がない時に、この映画のジュリアの笑顔を見ていると、だんだん元気が出てきます。
前向きな気持ちにさせてくれる作品ですよ！
ぜひ、元気を充電したいときにおすすめです！
