残念ながら、THE　YELLOW　MONKEYは解散してしまったけれど、
このBEST　ALBUMがFANへのお返しなのでしょう~。
音響の事にはあまり詳しくありませんが、過去に購入したCDより
今回のCDの方が細微な部分まで聴き取れます。
ﾘﾏｽﾀﾘﾝｸﾞの恩恵なのでしょうか？。
選曲は抜群ですね！新しい＆昔からのFAN両方を納得させてます。
DISC１は、世間的に有名な楽曲郡、DISC２はコアな名楽曲郡
そして、DISC３には、あのイワク付きの「追憶のマーメイド@原詩」！
古くからのFANにはたまらない楽曲です。
勿論「太陽が燃えている」「MOONLUGHT　DRIVE」など
FAN魂くすぐる選曲はメンバーのこだわりを感じます。
因みに、僕も発売前に同じように30曲選びましたが
絞りきれなくて50曲以下にはできませんでした。ﾜﾗ

残念ながら遺作になってしまったが、これはイエモンの集大成である。
これまでにも、レコード会社別のベストやシングル集は出ていたが、
ここまで徹底した編集版はなかった。だから最高である。
ヒットシングルに、ファンしか知らないような名曲を織り交ぜ、
聞いていて疲れることもないだろうし、昔のアルバムをもう一度聴きたくなるような、
そんな粋な選曲になっている。
やはり嬉しいのはアルバム未収録の名曲たち。
「NAI」や高速回転の「LOVE LOVE SHOW (English Version)「MOONLIGHT DRIVE」にはニヤリ。
オリジナルアルバム収録でシングルにも負けないインパクトのある、
「カナリヤ」「花吹雪」「真珠色の革命時代」なんてのもしっかり入っているし、
ライブで超盛り上がりの「HOTEL 宇宙船」など渋いところもイイ。
古いところから「This Is For You」ひっぱりだしたのもこだわりだろう。
今回初となる音源も見逃せない。
ファンとしては若干アルバムからの選曲が後期に偏っていることと、
ラストシングルの「プライマル」が収録されていないところに難をつけたいが、
最高のセレクションであることは間違いないだろう。

この選曲をざっとみたとき、すごく良い曲ぞろいだと思った
詳しく調べたらメンバーが選んだとのこと。
ヒットチャートにあった曲だけではなく本当に良い曲だけを
吟味してつくったことがよく分かりました。
ほんとうにYELLOW MONKEYが好きで楽曲もアルバムの曲の中から
でも選べるファンに購入してほしいと思います。

新しく聴く方はまずは、既存のbest盤から聴いて見たほうが
すんなりきけると思います。
