マルチプレイが可能なチェスゲーム。盤面は9種類から好きなデザインを選ぶことができ、見やすい見下ろし画面を採用。対戦相手は上級者から初心者まで総勢80人から、チェスゲームは6種類から選択可能。読み上げ機能、対局時間設定機能、先手後手設定機能、待った機能、棋譜の巻き戻し機能などを搭載。対戦相手を指定してチェスを行うマッチプレイ、自由に盤面を設定してチェスを始めることが可能なセットゲーム、チェスコーチの助言付き練習モードを用意するほか、トップチェスプレイヤーが指した20個の棋譜データを収録。

「本格的シリーズ チェス
チャンピオンシップ トーナメント」
も買いましたが、どちらを購入しても
変わりないような気がします。
ただ、こちらは３Ｄ画面にすることが
できません。

それと、「Rifle Chess」という
ルール方式では、両方とも異常終了
してしまいます。

画面の表示方法ですが、２Ｄのみの
表示ですので、「爆発的1480 チェス」
のころのウィンドウの表示方法が
よかったです。
チェスをするだけでDirectX 8.1を
要求する必要もないと思います。

そして、対決方法は、
「Chess」
「Back Rank Chess」
「Swap Chess」
「Random Chess」
「Losing Chess」
「Rifle Chess」
の６つの方法があります。
一番上は一般的なルールですが、
ほかのチェスのルールは一風
変わったルールですので、新鮮さを
感じます。（ただし、一番下は
私の環境ではできませんでした
ＷｉｎｄｏｗｓＸＰｓｐ２）

個人的には「Losing Chess」
が一番好きなルールです。
（自分の手駒すべてを
とられたら勝ちというルールです）

チャンピオンシップ トーナメント
のソフトと違いを見つけることが
できませんので、安い方をおすすめします。

結構強いですので、買って損はないです。

この価格でこの内容ならば十分です。バグはメーカーのサイトで対処されているので、いままで挙動不審のウワサなどで買い控えられていた方はもう安心。すでに買われた方も一安心でしょう。

バグとりしていない品物を出荷するのはどうよ、とも思いましたが対処してくれたので甘いけれど星５つです。
