ミッシェル解散後、こういう存在がかけていたのだ。
圧倒的にかっこよく、すべてを音でねじ伏せるようなバンドだ。
アジカンやバンプじゃどこか物足りない。

１０００のタンバリンは「赤毛のケリー」「マリオン」
「PINK」「シャロン」を彷彿させる名曲だ。
後期ミッシェルで徐々に芽生えてきたチバの新たな表現であろう。

どうしようもない悲しみとロマンティシズムに満ち溢れた楽曲。
マイナー調のメロディーは胸をかきむしる。
ドラム、ベース、ギターそしてチバの声が一体となって迫り来る。

この６曲でROSSOの圧倒的な存在感を見せられた。
だがまだ新生Rossoの片鱗しか見えていない。
だからこそ来るべきアルバムを待つ。

期待外れでした。歌詞をもっと練ってほしい、イメージの切り張りみたいな唄ばかりで、世界観が見えません。演奏はギター、ドラム共平凡でむしろ古臭いといった感じ。チバさんにはもっと頑張って欲しい。

ＴＭＧＥやＢＪＣがすごく大好きで、前作のアルバムでは、正直ＴＭＧＥを超えてるかも・・と今回にも大期待していた私ですが、このＣＤは「ちょっと・・・。」と言わざるを得ないような作品でした。

ボーカルのチバ氏の売りはシャウト（叫び）するがなり声なのですが、このＣＤ中全曲でがなりっぱなしです。
つぶやき声や落ち着いたメロディラインで感情を高めていき、一気にサビでがなりを爆発させるのがチバ氏の良さだと思っている私は、お腹いっぱいになりすぎてちょっと受け付けられません。
ただ叫びっぱなしなのはロックではないと思います。
メリハリがついていないとこんなに駄作になってしまうことが良くわかりました。

前作アルバム、「ＢＩＲＤ」の壮絶さが、ＲＯＳＳＯの軌跡ではなく、奇跡に終わってしまわないよう、本日（くらい？）発売の２ndアルバムでは、頑張っていていただきたいです。

頑張れチバ！
