普段は洋楽を聴いてますが、週刊新潮の年末年始お勧めセレクトCD（だったかな？）の中にこれがあり、ものは試しと聴いてみてびっくり。三味線の持つステレオタイプのイメージを払拭しています。コアな津軽三味線のファンにはどのように受け入れられるのか分かりませんが、洋楽ファンには十分楽しめるサウンドでした。
ツガル・フュージョンとは言ったものです。パイオニア的努力が感じられる曲の数々でした。
