最初にこのCDを聞いたとき、「あれ、なんか違うなぁ」と思ったのは、やっぱりマスタリングのせいですか…。
選曲やマスタリングについては賛否両論があるみたいですが、個人的には☆４つ。「あれ？」と思った時点で、どこか彼女の良さがすべて生かされていないような気がしました。でも、そこは個人差があるのは言うまでもないですが…。

でも、冒頭の『流星群』は私のお気に入りの曲でもあり、聞いていくうちに彼女の歌に宿る魂が伝わってきます。彼女の歌（歌声）には、魂が本当に込められているんですよね。聞いていくうちにどんどん歌に引き込まれていってしまう。彼女がそんな歌声の持ち主であることは、このアルバムでも証明されています。

願うらくは彼女の復活。
もう１度、鬼束ちひろの歌を聞かせてほしい。

~選曲や本人が関わっていない等の賛否両論がありますが、私も期待してませんでした。
実際にアルバムを全曲聴くと、いままでのオリジナルアルバムを聴いてるぐらい新鮮で、意外にとっても良い選曲でした。
育ての親である羽毛田さんがホームページで1曲1曲にコメントをされてて、それを読んだ上で聴くと、尚鬼束さんの成長が分かり、今後に期待せずにいられま~~せん。
羽毛田さん曰く「究極の鬼束ワールドを届けるための4枚目のアルバムと位置づけてもよいものだ。」…私は納得しました。ジャケットも素敵なので、買って正解でした。~

私は彼女のファンではないので、彼女の歴史は知らないのですが、
このアルバムの完成度はかなりのものだと思います。
素晴らしい詞に、透き通った声とピアノの音がとても良く合っていて、
「infection」や「私とワルツを」、特に「茨の海」を聴くと、
鳥肌が立ちました。買ってみる価値はあると思います。
