メガドライブ、ゲームギア、サターン、ドリームキャスト。
今は亡き名機たちの、主力ソフトであり続けた、ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ。
ソニックのすべてがつまってるソフトであり、セガの迷走の歴史でもある本作。
なんてったって、ソニック版のピンボールやぷよぷよが入ってるｗ
その上、フリッキー、ジ・ウーズ、コミックス ゾーン、リスター・ザ・シューティングスターなど
聞いたこともないソフトも入ってる。お得感バッチリ(？)

ソニックは毎回「超音速アクション」と銘打たれるため、
初心者のひとは取っ付きにくいゲームと思いがちだけど、
スーパーマ○オなどと違い、ソニックはコイン１枚でも持ってれば
敵にあたっても死なないので、より初心者向けだ。広告とかはそこんとこアピールすべきだ。
もちろん、ゲームに慣れてきたら「超音速」なプレイも楽しめるようになるし。

当方はSSのソニックジャム（以下、SS版）を所有しているので
それとの比較を中心にレビューします。

よかった点
●プレイ画面が非常に美麗
　ＳＳ版と比較すると画面サイズが少し小さめですが、
　その分解像度が上がっており、クオリティの高さを感じます。
●ロードが激早
　メディアにDVDを採用しているため、ロードが非常に迅速。
　２~３秒程度というところでしょうか。
　SS版は５秒程度のロード時間があります。
●掲載タイトルが豊富
　SS版は４タイトル（ロックオン含まず）でしたが、
　本作は１３タイトルを収録。日本未発売のタイトルも含まれており、
　資料的価値も高いといえるでしょう。

残念だった点
●挙動がSS版と異なる？
　慣れれば気にならなくなりますが、SS版と本作では
　ジャンプのタイミングが若干異なる感じです。
●映像特典が今ひとつ
　SS版では映像特典としてアニメ版ソニックのオープニングが
　掲載されていましたが、本作の映像特典は先にリリースされた
　ソニックヒーローズのオープニングムービー。
　特典というよりはおまけという感じで肩透かしの感がありました。

映像特典に関しては少し残念な印象ですが、他の特典や
収録タイトルも含め非常に豪華な一作。
全体的な満足度は非常に高いと言えるでしょう。

ソニックのゲームがたくさん入っていてお買い得感満載。
隠しゲームもあるようですが、まだたどり着けません。
ただ日本未発売のゲームもあって期待していたのですが、
ゲームバランスがよく無かったです。
それでもコミック画像やムービーなども入っていてソニックファンは楽しめるでしょう。
ゲームのほうも 画面は古臭く感じますが、ソニックのスピード感あふれる操作は気持ちがいいです。

起動の時の ＳＥＧＡ~ の音声には思わず「ナツカシー」と叫んでしまいました。
