　個人で使うために、初めて購入しました。プロユース用の製品とユーザインターフェイスがしっかり統一されているので、アドビ製品の取り扱いにある程度の経験のあった私には、マニュアルを見なくても少しも迷うこと無く使えました。
　機能面でフルバージョンと比べて見劣りがする点が有るのではないかと思っていたのですが、実際にはパーソナルユースには十分すぎるほどの内容だったので、とても満足しています。

photoshopの子分と思われがちですが、
プロの使用ではないのなら十分すぎる内容です。
アップル純正のiPhotoの補正機能に微力さを感じるならば、
迷わずこれをお勧め致します。
私の場合は初めてのphotoshopでしたが、特に迷わず使えました。
ワンクリックで簡単に自動補正も出来ますし、
複雑な合成やトリミングもこの価格で出来るのです。
また豊富な書き出し機能もアドビのソフトならではだと思います。
ワンステップ上の画像編集にはもってこいかと。
またiPhotoとの連携も良く、
設定する事でiPhoto画面からダブルクリックで
photoshopの編集画面へ移れます。

私の使用環境が G4 700Mhz 640MB なので処理により、
少し重たい感じがしたので☆四つとしています。
またiPhotoユーザーは乗り換えの対象なので、優待版をお薦めします。

本家Photoshopとできることは変わらないのに数分の一の値段が良いです。かつてのPhotoshop Basicのイメージでいたのですが、ずいぶん進んでいました。画像処理ではトーンカーブこそ無いものの、手動レベル調整までできます。Painterもどきの描画シミュレーションも楽しめます。他に驚きは、レイヤー、自由に戻れるヒストリー機能、さらにファイルブラウザーまでそろえています。これはAdobe Illustratorなどのサムネールを持ったデータを、瞬時に映像で表示してくれます。画像データの整理にかなり役立ちます。ただパスは使えないので、細密な切り抜きなどは難しいといえます。
