通算8作目のシングル。(1)はドラマ『ナースマンがゆく』挿入歌で、彼女の陽性の声がメロウなバラードを一層心温かいものにさせる。その声ゆえに、女の本音に迫る歌詞の(2)も、ポップスとして成り立つのが◎。(3)は、ベット・ミドラーの名曲をそつなくカヴァー。

2ヵ月前にリリースされたばかりのダンス・チューン「I Will」と好対照をなす、極上ミディアム・バラードが登場。ナチュラル ハイの白木裕子が“永久の愛”をテーマに詞を書き下ろしている。彼女は、歌において“私”を過剰に主張せず、音楽と大人っぽくクールに付きあっているところが好きなのだが、ラブ・ソングをあらためてよく聴くと、歌の中にまだ21歳のあどけなさがうっすら残っているのがまた良い。2曲目はスパニッシュ・ギターと80'sポップスと変則ビートを違和感なく融合させたアレンジが光る。ベット・ミドラーのカヴァーにも挑戦。 (齋藤奈緒子) --- 2004年12月号

心安らぐ良い曲です。最初は地味かな？と思いましたが聴くたび心に染みこみます。カップリングもスパニッシュな感じが良く、こちらもシングルでいけるのでは？と思わせる曲です。

　この曲を初めて聴いた時、ただひたすら追われるかのように毎日を過ごしていた自分にとって、静かに応援されてるようなそんな曲に聞こえて気持ちが和らいだ感じがしました。全体的にしっとりと優しい歌です。
