サザンの数ある曲の中で、個人的に
サイケ調&程よいノリ系が好きなので気に入りました♪
イントロからしてFUNKYで『やられた!』という感じ。
同じような好みの方はお気に召すのでは...？

結構キワドイor過激な内容の曲でも　サザンだと
“お洒落でカッコイイ”仕上がりで
聴きやすく仕上がるのが　センスのよさですね。
何といっても自然に体が動くようなノリが◎
タイアップじゃなくても　サザンの曲自体がイイのです。

サザンオールスターズデビュー以来５０枚目のシングルは、洒落た大人の雰囲気漂うおバカソング。一言で言えば実にサザンらしい一曲です。
ナンセンスさとカッコよさが共存した歌詞に、独特のメロディ。
２６周年を迎え、シングルも５０枚に達しながらも、まだまだサザンオールスターズは第一線で頑張ってくれそうな期待を抱かせる一曲です。
フジテレビ系ドラマ「大奥~第一章」の主題歌となっています。

カップリング曲はトヨタのキャンペーンソングとしてＣＭで使われている「LONELY WOMAN」。
しっとりとしたミディアムテンポのこの曲は「愛と欲望…」と好対照で、ポップなサザンを聞かせてくれます。

さらにボーナストラックとしては、２００４年夏にファンクラブ限定、しかもその中でも限られた人数しか行くことのできなかった幻のライブで演奏された音源が２曲収録されています。
「イエローマン」はサザンのライブでは発売以来定番となっているナンバーですが、今回はいつもとは大幅に異なるアレンジがされました。
「ラチエン通りのシスター」は古い曲ですが、多くのファン、そして桑田さん自身も強い思い入れがある隠れた名曲です。

考えないで突き抜けられるタイトル曲。
TVドラマ[大奥]の主題歌となっていて舞台は"お江戸"ですが、
なんとなく
"匂艶(にじいろ) THE NIGHT CLUB"を思い出してしまいました。
バブル時代の宴会調、無礼講のノリで好きです。

さらにこの季節にVOCALと詩が沁みるC/W、
BONUS TRACKSはライブ収録でイエローマンとラチエン通り…が
収録されています。

この世知辛い時代のこの季節に
せっかく生きてるんだから前向きましょうよって言われて
いるような気がしました。
