ギターにイマイアキノブ（元フリクション）、ドラムに佐藤稔を迎え、4人編成で復活をとげたROSSOの待望のフルアルバム。先行ダブルシングル「1000のタンバリン/アウトサイダー」ほか、全12曲を収録。

   正直、復活の狼煙を上げたツイン・シングルでは、歓喜に満ちた祝祭が行われる「ここ」と、遠い空を埋め尽くす悲しみの砲火の炸裂が同じ時代にあることを示唆したような「1000のタンバリン」以外はさして新鮮じゃなかった。要はTMGE以上でもBJC以上でもないという“お門違いな当て外れ”からだったと思う。ROSSOはROSSOだ。

   アルバムでは、愚直なまでに字面通り、ハードでサイケデリックなロックを正面切って鳴らしている。引き合いに出したくなるのはレッド・ツェッペリン的なファンクネスや、ピンク・フロイドやドアーズに通じる陶酔の中の一瞬の覚醒感。悲壮ではない。何か重い泥に足を取られたままロールしようとする現実のロックだ。（石角友香）

さらに凄みを増したチバの、喉をかきむしるような歌と唯一無二の存在感を持つ照井のベースが楽曲の肝。あとの二人もキャリアのあるミュージシャンだけあり、演奏は申し分ない。BJCやTMGEと比較したくなるのは当然だが、それらとは違うROSSOの音を獲得している。個人的には照井のベースラインからできたと思われる、遅めのテンポのロカビリーやシャッフルの曲がいい。マスタリングをしているのも凄腕のようで、本来の楽器の鳴りが聴こえるような気がする。
若いバンドはエレクトロニクスを取り入れたりラップしてみたり、それはそれでいいと思う。だけどここにはロックンロールしかできない不良おやじ達の、まっすぐな音が鳴っている。

前作とはまったく別物と思います。そう悪いわけではないですが､前作をイメージして買うとう~ん？と思うかも。ですが､バンドの音は変化していくと考えれば（メンバーも変わってるし）私は悪くないアルバムだと思います。これからにも期待したいです。

理屈なし。いいもんはイイ。評論家気取りのわからねぇヤツらにはわからねぇだろーに。ROSSOはROSSO。ビンビン伝わってくる。本物のR＆Rを求めきったロッカー達の音が伝わってくる。腐れきった日本のロックシーンにトドメさして。
