1974年発表の名盤中の名盤が発売30周年を記念してデラックス・エディションで登場。ディスク1は、デジタル・リマスターを施したアルバム収録曲にセッション・アウトテイク5曲を加えた全15曲を収録。ディスク2には、1974年12月にハマースミス・オデオンで行われたライブ11曲を収録。

   1974年発表の本作で、クラプトンのソロとしてのキャリアは名実ともにエンジンがかかった。本作でまず思い浮かぶのは、ヒット曲となったボブ・マーリーのカヴァー曲<5>である。おそらく、アメリカ人の多くはこの曲で初めてレゲエのリズムを耳にしたことだろう。けれども本作にはクラプトンならではの高揚感をもたらす一面もあり、特にオリジナルの2曲、祈りを捧げるかのような<2>と請い願うかのような<8>では際立っている。クラプトンの音楽の根幹であるブルース性は、ロバート・ジョンソンの<9>とエルモア・ジェームズの<6>のカバー曲の中に息づいている。ロックンロールのクラシックであるジョニー・オーティスの<3>にも光を当て、スタンダードナンバーの<1>をうなるギターの見本となるナンバーに変ぼうさせた。暗い隠遁（いんとん）生活に終止符を打ったクラプトンは、本作で力強いカムバックを果たした。（Daniel Durchholz, Amazon.com）

買いました！
ディスク２は、、、これりゃ凄いですよ。
観客の声援などの音声を絞っているようで、ヒズ・バンドの演奏が
聴きやすい、ハマースミスオデオンで開かれた７４年のコンサートです。
７４年は決まってオープニングがスマイルです、来日公演でもそうだった。
Can't Find My Way Homeイヴォンヌの出番ですね、マーシ-はハーモニカ。
このメンバーがやっぱし最高です。
Badgeのエンティングでは、Motherless Childrenのイントロを少し弾きいていますよ。
エリックのボーカルもよし、ギターもよし、バンドもよし！

これは買っても損はしない納得のCDに間違えありません。

どちら共買いましたが音質は殆ど同じなので、わざわざ値段の高い国内盤を購入する必要は
ないと思います、国内盤をコレクターにしている方には別ですが。

内容はディスク：1は音質が向上しております。
ディスク：2のライヴは、さすがにオフィシャル盤なので音質もまずまず良いです。
完全収録ではないですが曲の選択が良いので◎です、１~３曲はアコースティック・ギターで
演奏しています、（ジャケット裏に写っている000-28.ギター）
中でも「レット・イット・グロウ」は綺麗で涙ものでした。（よく聴くとジョージ・テリーもサビで歌っています）
「マイ・ウェイ・ホーム」はイヴォンヌのヴォーカルが魅力的です、このライブではサビから
クラプトンのヴォーカルが入ります、４曲目からはエレクトリック・ギターの演奏でガラと
変わり迫力あるライブが楽しめます！4.アイ・ショット・ザ・シェリフではギター・ソロは
クライベイビーを使用、また9.バッヂではコーラスかフランジャーを使用しております。
エリック・クラプトンは今もそうですが、だいたい上記に上げたエフエクターを好んで使って
います。5.テル・ザ・トゥルースのメインフレーズ（ヴォーカル）は、１コーラスがエリック、
２コーラスがイヴォンヌ、３コーラスがマーシの順番です。
