Rahsaan Pattersonファンには周知のことだが、このサードアルバム（元々はMCAから「The Best」としてもっと以前に発売される予定だった）はすでに3ヴァージョンが存在する。
先に発売されたUK盤にはシークレットトラックとしてStraighten It Outが、CCCDの国内盤にはJust Like CandyとIfの2曲が、そしてこのUS盤にはForever YoursとSometimes (You Gotta Let Go) followed by Prelude: After Hours (Gone Is The Love)の2曲が（3曲なのだが、After Hoursは短いほぼインスト仕様）、それぞれ収録されており、ジャケットもいちいち異なる。

Forever YoursはMike Cityプロデュースと意外なものだが、あまり惹かれるものはない。しかしSometimes (You Gotta Let Go)はJamey Jazとのコンビで素晴らしい出来。前2作の雰囲気に近い。

アルバム自体はといえば、待たされたファンとしてはサントラ等で既発だった曲が3曲とも（The One For Me、So Hot、You Make Life SO Good）収録されているものの、どれも素晴らしいことに変わりなく気にならない。特に、おなじみのSo~シリーズのSo Hotの突進力は新鮮。
あいかわらずの駄作の無さには、まさしく脱帽である。

ボーカルアレンジが本作も目を見張る。完成度が高い楽曲が多く、自分としてはもっと、もっと注目されても良いシンガーと思う。
とにかく、あついファンクナンバー ＳＯ ＨＯＴ（三曲目）を聞いてほしい。納得のナンバーであろう。

所属レーベルMCA解体により行く末を危ぶまれていたRahsaanが、UKのDomeと無事契約を交わし、こうして5年振りのアルバムをリリースしてくれたのは嬉しい限り。元々彼のメロディーメイカーとしての才能は卓越したものだったが、今回はこれまでの流れを踏襲しながら、更に素晴らしい作品を提供してくれている。何といってもこの中では(3)が突出した仕上がり。この大人のグルーヴ感は凄まじい。ビート、メロディー、ボーカル全て文句ない。気持ちよすぎて昇天確実。もちろん他のアルバムの流れも素晴らしい。流れるグルーヴ感がすごく気持ちいい(1)、ファンクネスを内包した(2)、抑え気味のボーカルが更なる緊張感を生み出している(4)、美麗なバラード(6)(7)、なんともハッピーな雰囲気が心地いい(8)、うねったビートが遊びを感じさせる(9)、はねたビートがカラダを揺さぶられる(10)、まさに初夏を思わせるメロディアスで気持ちいい(11)、そしてシークレットトラックでのミディアムグルーヴまで、本当に全てが素晴らしい。こんな素晴らしいアルバムがアメリカでリリースされないのが信じられないほどだが、それでもこうして日本で聞くことができるのは嬉しい限り。男性ボーカルモノのアルバムの完成度としては本当に高レベル。熱いファンクネス。必聴。
