今年３月にベスト盤を出して以来のバインの新作ですっもちろん新曲の音源も期待なんですが、
ミスフライハイ、アンチハレルヤなど、イデアの水槽から多数収録されているライブの映像が楽しみでなりません！！
特に、一層オリジナリティを増した西川さんのギターは必見ですっ☆☆

レコード評などでも良く言われているように、近作で
外へ外へと開いていっている印象のあったバインが、
再び内へと向かい始めたことを伺わせる１枚。

内省的で、重く静かなトーンの曲ばかりが並んでいて、
一聴して耳を引くような派手さ・キャッチーさといった
ものは皆無と言って良いほどですが、その分聴き込む
ほどに味わいを増す感じです。

歌詞もちょっと興味深い。
特に｢作家の顛末｣には、"書生・田中一将"の本音が
垣間見える気がします。

初期は好きだったけど、ここ最近の方向性にもうひとつ
馴染めなかった方(私もそのクチです)に特にお勧めしたい
作品です。

地味な作品だとは思う。
メロディもサウンドもキャッチーであるとは言いがたい。
ただ何度も聴いているうちに味の出てくる作品だと思う。
グレイプバインというバンドを見直すことのできた1枚。

隙の無いギターアレンジ、独特のリズムワークが
聴いていて心地よい。
全編を通して田中和将の文学的で
かつ内省的な歌詞の世界が広がっている。
ふとしたはずみに耳に飛び込んでくる歌詞の1フレーズに
どきっとしてしまうのは私だけだろうか。

個人的には表題曲であるEveryman~の
低音と高音が折り重なるようになされるストリングスアレンジに
圧倒された。

グレイプバインの入門者にはオススメできないが、
バインの世界に浸るにはもってこいの1枚だと思う。
