●食材を煮るのに沸騰させ続ける必要はない。牛肉は80℃を15分、じゃがいもなら85℃を20分保つことで中まで熱が通る
●調理鍋の底面は、熱が伝わりやすく焦げつきにくい4mmの厚底設計
●調理鍋は、200Vの電磁調理器（IHクッキングヒーター）対応。もちろん、ガスや電気、ハロゲンヒーター、シーズーヒーターでも使用できる
●料理が見やすい強化ガラスぶた
●保温容器フタは着脱が簡単なのでお手入れがラクラク
●再加熱のタイミングが分かりやすい温度計付き
●調理鍋底面は、18-8ステンレス・アルミニウム・18-0ステンレスの3層構造

　色々といいことを言われているシャトルシェフですが･･･確かにいいです。光熱費も低く抑えられるし、調理中、火を使わないから、その間、買い物にも行けるし、昼寝も出来ます（笑）。
　付属のレシピ本をベースにアレンジして使いこなせば、この価格も高くはないでしょう。THERMOSのワンランク下の製品より、この温度計のあるタイプが絶対オススメです。温度計の有無以外に、使い勝手に大きな違いがあります。外釜の蓋がワンタッチで取り外せて、外釜本体に引っ掛けられるようになってます。蓋が邪魔にならないし、手入れもしやすいです。アクのたくさん出る食材の調理には不向きと感じています。しかし、この点も、使いこなしていく上の楽しみかも知れません。

シチューの有名店で作り方を尋ねると「肉はことこと4日煮込みました。」とか言われる。まさか一般家庭で煮込み煮込み続けるわけにもいかないし、やっぱりシチューはお店でねと思っていたが、そうしたビーフシチューもシャトルシェフで可能になります。8〜10時間ほど保温調理時間が持続できるので、1日に3回ほど火を入れ直してあげるだけで4日ことことが可能になります。今まで美味しいビーフシチューは家庭では無理。有名店へ食べに行くしかないと思っていましたが、有名店を凌ぐ味を作ることが出来ます。（実際出来ました。私の味覚の中では…）あまりに美味しく出来たのでご近所へお裾分けしましたが、皆さんその味に驚いていました。スパゲティーなどの麺ものや、茹でる、煮るなど、炊く（焼く、揚げる、蒸す以外のこと）では圧倒的な力を発揮する調理器です。家庭での料理はもちろん、キャンプや防災用品でも使えそうです。中火で7分加熱をしただけでお米が炊けちゃうのですから。やはり1家に1台、いや数台かもしれません！！そして、シャトルシェフの省エネ効果は温室効果ガスの発生を押さえ、地球の危機を救うかもしれません！！恐るべしシャトルシェフ！！もっと気合いを入れて売ったら良いのに…。メーカーの営業やる気なしですか！？
