4.0 out of 5 stars 台詞＆効果音挿入曲が複数あり, 2004/12/18
いい曲がたくさん・・本当にお勧めのサントラなのですが、
役者さんの台詞や効果音が挿入されている曲が複数あり、
純粋に曲だけ楽しみたい・・という方には、
それが余計に感じられるかもしれません。
私も、一曲目の「look who's talking」は、
純粋に楽曲だけの収録にして欲しかったな・・と思います。

他の、台詞＆効果音挿入曲は概ね、挿入も正解と思える・・
映画を思い出して、あの世界観に浸る上で役立つとは思うのですが、
「look who's talking」は、切ないダウナー系（？）メロディー
（それはそれでいい曲揃いなんですが）の多いこのサントラ内で、
珍しいタイプというか、物語の「始まり」を感じさせる、
いかにもOP！といった感じのキャッチーな曲なので、
映画と切り離して単体の曲としても愉しみたい・・
映画を見ていない人にも聞かせたい・・
そう考えると台詞が邪魔かも・・という訳で星ひとつ減点。

でも本当、お勧めのサントラであることは間違いないです。
ヘビーローテーションで聞いてます。

例えば、この映画の楽曲が重厚なオーケストラのシンフォニーだったら。
恐らく絶望的な結末に慄然し打ちのめされただけで終わったでしょう。
minorなワルツが基調にあるからこそ、この悲劇の首謀者である人間のもつ狂おしい程の哀しみを　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　主人公の味わった絶望と等価に感じることができるのではないでしょうか。
ラスト、彼はその境地に達し、テーマはやはりワルツで物語は終焉を迎え、
クラリネットの音色が焦燥の果ての虚脱を緩やかに告げます。

ビルの屋上から飛び降り自殺しようとしている男のネクタイをわしづかみにする主人公。
自殺男は問う。「あんたは誰だ？」
男は言う。「俺は、俺は・・・」

この科白から始まるサントラ。そして１曲目はこのシーンに流れる曲で、
次が雨降る公衆電話前で拉致される男のシーン。

ラストは、アラン・ドロンの「太陽がいっぱい」を思わせるワルツで終わる。
しかしサントラには、このワルツの最後に、誘拐犯のハミングが入っていて、
それがフェイドアウトして消えていく。

サントラの内部で、映画が音楽的に再構成されていて素晴らしい。

韓国輸入盤は、例の紫色のハンカチのモチーフが表紙。
16Ｐのカラーブックレットが入っている。
デザインは韓国色が強い。

映画は3回も見ました。印象的なあのワルツはロシア民謡じゃなかったんですね。DVD出るまでこのサントラで我慢します。
