    　静かに聴き入ってしまいます。摩天楼の夜のために。
    　これには南さんの情熱や優しさや悲壮感や、センチメンタルな趣とかそういったすべての感情がピアノの音に静かに表れているのです。
    　大人のジャズ・メンは背中で音楽を醸しだすのです。
    　30分という時間もいい。やたら長くてだらだらしているよりも、濃密な5曲がみっちり詰まった30分のほうが集中して聴き入ることができるというものです。蜜を吸うみつばちのように。限りなく集中力を駆使して。
    　プロデューサーの菊地さんは「みなとみらい」近くの夜のドライブのとき、むしょうに南さんのこういうアルバムが欲しくなったそうです。
    　ただそれだけの初期衝動で2年間の制作期間を経て作られた、まるで高級黒酢のような（おかしなたとえなものです）アルバムです。すべてのCDはこのように作られるべきだと僕は思うのですが。すべてはコンセプトから。それってとても大切なことだと思うのですが。
    　詳しくはライナーノーツをご覧ください。菊地成孔さん、南博さん、中島伸行さん（弦の編曲をした方です）の三つ巴が堪能できます。

    　とにかく一曲目の「B MINOR WALTZ」から聴いてみてください。
    　まるで映画のワン・シーンのような、切なくて柔らかで濃密な空気に呑まれてみてみてください。
    　あなたもきっと、あっという間に30分の時間が過ぎて、CDが止まったら自然ともう一度再生ボタンを押している自分に気づくはずです。

    ５曲で２５００円はちょっと高いと思ったけど、ビルエバンスの「B MINOR WALTZ」だけでも十分かなって思わせるほど、すばらしい演奏だね。１曲だけラテンもの？があるけど、これは無くてもいいんじゃない？全てバラードにしたほうが良かったんじゃないかな。ジャケットの仕様がＬＰレコードみたいで、こだわりを感じるね。
