こんな不気味なゲーム、私は知らない。
舞台となる村の薄気味悪さ。徘徊する屍人たちの気色悪さ。従来のホラーゲームをやり尽くした私でさえ、プレイ毎に感じる後味の悪さ。････最高だ。

もっと早く手を出せばよかった。難易度が高すぎるという批評を聞いて、尻込みしていた自分が悔やまれる。サイレントヒルがクリアできる人なら十分できる範囲である。
個性豊かな多くのキャラクター達。ある者は銃が使え、ある者は逃げることしかできない。何より彼ら一人一人に恐ろしくも悲しいドラマがあるのも大きな魅力だ。また、実写取り込みの彼らの表情も非常にユニークで、かつ不気味さに拍車をかけている。

マンネリな最近のホラーゲーム業界にくさびを打ち込んだ作品。ぜひともお薦めする。

　世界一難しいゲームとしてギネスに登録してほしいです。
これをスラスラとクリアできる人がこの世にいるんでしょうか？
スタッフの方だって無理だと思われます。

クリアするには敵に見つからず、かつ特定の条件を
満たす必要があるのですが、その条件を見つけるまでに
１０回は死にます。敵の位置を把握するのにもう１０回は死にます。
死ぬとやり直しです。途中からできるリプレイポイントもありますが、
そこにたどり着くまでに２０回は死にます。
そんなシナリオが数十あります。

敵の視界でものが見える視界ジャックというシステムは
斬新ですが難しい。ふと視界ジャックして視界ジャック中の
自分の後ろ姿を見た瞬間思わずうなってしまいました。
世界一怖いゲームとしてもギネスに登録していただきたい。

続編に実写映画化とこれからSIRENという文字を見かける機会が
増えるでしょうが、決しておすすめはしません。

最後に、このゲームを生み出したスタッフに
心から拍手を送りましょう！
難度最強の神ゲーですから

最初は怖すぎて、コントローラを持つ手が震えました。
コツが分ってくると、ビビらずに動けるようになりましたが。
日本の山奥の村の、閉鎖的な文化が細かく設定されている所が面白かったです。
ゲームをクリアした後も、もっと、いろいろ、羽生蛇村について知りたいって、欲求が消えません（笑）
難しいですが、攻略サイトが充実してるので、攻略本を買わなくても、十分、攻略できます。
